E3 2016: Ubisoft Summary - Watch Dogs 2, Star Trek VR, Steep, Ghost Recon & South Park

The Ubisoft E3 Conference is today, and we are here to give you every detail. Almost as awkward and weird as the Samsung Galaxy S4 press conference, the Ubisoft presser was extremely awkward. We love Aisha Tyler, but there were countless awkward silences after every joke she delivered, and there was a general sense of ho-hum amongst the attendees. And don't forget folks, 70% of the crowd on the floor WORK FOR Ubisoft.

Ghost Recon Wildlands

This is about a Mexican cocaine cartel seizing the entire country. The entire country of Bolivia, that is. Ghosts are dropped behind enemy lines to create chaos and disrupt the cartel. While the game looks decent, it isn't the caliber of game we have seen of late visually. And Ubisoft's Player Voice-Over trailer style like they did with The Division just feels off and weird. It still looks interesting, and you can find more info at www.ghostrecon.com. Coming March 7, 2017.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

It's a civil war between the factions of the kids. A satire on the avengers, sounds like. Ubisoft showed some gameplay. It looks exactly like the show. With all the swearing and everything. While the game is  as offensive and disturbing as expected, the game look genuinely awesome. It's amazing that it looks like you are simply playing the cartoon. In addition, every purchase of SP: TFBW qualifies you for a free copy of The Stick Of Truth. The following trailer is so incredibly NSFW I cannot stress it enough. DO NOT WATCH IN FRONT OF KIDS OR FAMILY.

The Division: The Underground & Survival  DLC

Underground is out June 28 on Xbox One/PC, August 2 for PS4. Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, and Splinter Cell outfits coming to the game if you're a member of the Ubisoft club when Underground comes out.

Eagle Flight

This looks wild. High-speed dogfighting, essentially. Except you're an eagle. You can shoot air at someone with the flag to force them to drop it. Bird based Capture the flag action.

Star Trek VR

While the game looks cool to a Trekkie like me, it seems like a high tech, VR Button pressing simulator. From Ubisoft: "Watch as Star Trek alums Levar Burton, Jeri Ryan, and Karl Urban reveal and play Star Trek: Bridge Crew for the first time and discover the immersive Star Trek experience in Virtual Reality (VR). Developed specifically for VR, Star Trek: Bridge Crew is the only game to offer a true-to-life level of immersion in the Star Trek universe, where- as officers of the Federation- every action and decision you make together will determine the fate of your ship and crew."

For Honor

Completely brutal and gory, but super interesting. Apolion is the villain. Unites the three branches. It's about unifying the samurai, knights, and vikings together.

Just Dance 2017

Coming in 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and for the Nintendo NX. Making this the first game from Ubisoft for the NX. At the event, Ubisoft declined to share further details about the Just Dance game or the NX. This is to be expected, as Nintendo itself has said it won't talk about NX at E3. The system is due to launch in March 2017, though the platform has yet to be formally announced.

Grow Up

Grow Up is a joyful and ageless fantasy game. BUD, a clumsy and charming robot, is on a mission to find MOM, his parental spaceship. Leap, bounce, and float in a vast open world as BUD explores the new planet in this beautiful acrobatic adventure

Trials of the Blood Dragon

This happened as well. Don't ask me, just watch, and scratch your head.

Assassin's Creed Movie

Frank Marshall takes the stage to talk about the movie. I loved Macbeth (which starred Fassbender and Cotillard and directed by Justin Kurzel) and those three are working on Assassin's Creed.

Watch Dogs 2

Yves Guillemot took the stage to talk about a Watch Dogs Sony deal. Sony says they are working on a Watch Dogs feature film. Playstation 4 players will have access to all DLC for the game 30 days before other platforms.

Maybe it's just become it's a new IP, but Steep is the most compelling of all
