Check out the trailers Nintendo released yesterday prior to their Treehouse event going on today at E3.
Take control of a one-armed heroine named Sasha, wielding a living sword on her journey through a nightmare world in search of her family. Swipe-based touch controls will let you solve puzzles, find secrets, and do battle with a host of disturbing monsters. As the journey goes on, you’ll unlock new abilities, ascend an RPG-style upgrade tree, and tease apart the mysteries of the dark fantasy universe Sasha finds herself in. Severed is coming to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in 2016.
Axiom Verge is a retro-style action-platform-exploration game done in a 16-bit style and was heavily influenced by games like Metroid, Contra, Blaster Master, and other classics, but with very modern design sensibilities. It also gives you power over glitches like those found in classic games, allowing you to scramble enemies, corrupt environments, and enter hidden areas as you explore this hostile alien world and uncover your role within it.
Runbow Pocket takes all the fun colorful chaos of Runbow on Wii U and brings it to New Nintendo 3DS. Master Adventure, Bowhemoth, and Satura’s Space Adventure on your own, or play head to head with friends over local ad hoc networking. Players can also create StreetPass cards to share fun stats with friends.
Jotun: Valhalla Edition
Jotun is a hand-drawn action-exploration game set in Norse mythology. In Jotun, you play Thora, a Viking warrior who died an inglorious death and must prove herself to the Gods to enter Valhalla. Impress the Gods!
